Can you guarantee your employees safety during the assembly and dismantle of alluminium scaffold?
We have recently added to our range of scaffolding BetaGuard, an Integral Advance Guardrail that
eliminates the risk of fall from height throughout assembly and dismantle of Aluminium Towers. Set to
revolutionalise the way towers are assembled, the BetaGuard removes the need for diagonal and
horizontal braces which can be easily lost or damaged, replacing them with an easy to use single BetaGuard frame.
Due to the downturn in business and unsustainable hire rates in the south of ireland, we will be closing our two depots in Dublin and Greystones. This was not an easy decision by any means. We have been discussing this for some time but there is little sign that conditions are likely to improve anyway soon. We have had ten fantastic years in southern ireland and would like to thank all our customers for their support during this time. This doesn't mean that we are giving up on Dublin for good, as we will still be making deliveries from our Banbridge depot in the north.
Once again we are happy to sponsor the Superstock race at this years North West 200. We have now enjoyed more than twenty years association with the largest sporting event in Ireland.
Managing Director Andrew Hutchinson is pictured with the attractive grid models prior to this years race.
Its Auction time again for CP Hire, Saturday the 7th March 2009 at 12
Noon will see another disposal sale of quality used plant and tools. The
event now in its eighth year has proved a very successful way for CP
Hire to move on its used equipment. The auction, conducted by Wilsons
Auctions Mallusk, is the fastest and most professional way to clear out
our used equipment.
Everything from a 4"angle grinder to a 20ton roller will be offered for sale on March the 7th. Many of the electrical tools are changed after one year as it is company policy to always offer the most up to date equipment available to its customers.
So come along and have a look if you are interested in a quality second hand power tool or maybe even a larger piece of plant, keep bidding and you could well end up the proud owner !!
MacGen Power Generation Ltd and CP Hire have built upon their established working relationship with the signing of a new contract for twelve generators ranging from 40kVA to 200kVA.
Each generator is equipped with the CEM6 Electronic Control Unit which facilitates a level of customisation by the user, previously only accessible to trained technicians. In order to meet our primary objective of being foremost in plant hire in Northern Ireland , we are continually investing in our range of generators, says CP Hire's managing director Andrew Hutchinson.
After CP Hire trialled a number of Neuson site dumpers over an extensive period , they
have ordered 100 Neuson dumpers for delivery during the remainder of 2007 and early 2008.
"We were very pleased with the feedback both on site with the customer, and, from the workshop personnel" commented CP managing director Andrew Hutchinson. "We have watched from afar at Neuson's growing market share across the UK and saw the added benefits of running this equipment in our fleet. At CP Hire, the focus is on supplying a contractor's every need when it comes to the hire of plant, tools and equipment with over 4,000 items available. This covers everything from 25-ton rollers, dumpers, telescopic forklifts, compressors and mini excavators to site accommodation, fencing power tools and safety equipment."
The order, covering units across the 1 to 10 tonne range includes the first cabSPACE dumpers to be sold in Ireland. This CP Hire specification comes complete with powershift semi automatic transmission and the fully integrated heating system. Air-conditioning and radio can also be included as options.
Mr Hutchinson expressed CP's commitment to offering new, reliable and well supported products throughout their fleet. This most recent acquisition will surely have his and Neuson's competitors seeing red.
We have recently taken delivery of 30 Yanmar excavators from Crumlin plant sales,
ranging from 1 ton to 8 ton machines.
These are not the first Yanmar we have had in the fleet. We've found it to be a reliable machine, easy to operate and maintain and well received by our customer base. It also retains a good residual value, which is another important consideration for us.
CP Hire can now confidently boast to have the best machinery in the business.
In order to meet the company's primary objective of being 'Foremost in plant hire', it is necessary to continually add and update the equipment list. This has been achieved with the purchasing of 40 new machines from TBF Thompson. 28 Thwaites dumpers were purchased and these were a combination of power swivels and forward tippers ranging from 3 tonnes to the 9 tonne dumpers. 12 Bomag rollers were also supplied including two BW213D-4 large tandem rollers.

taken to reduce theft in the plant hire industry.
In an order worth £1 million C P Hire has recently taken delivery of over 40 new Mini-diggers.
This order of Mini-Diggers will replace many of our older machines. We are always
trying to keep our plant fleet as fresh as possible and our most recent
